Why did you choose Saint Francis? I loved track and the coach from High School was the main reason, when I came to SFU for a Visit the coach was so genuine that I felt it would be the best fit for myself along with the OT program.

2012 Outdoor (Junior) - Ran a season best in the 400m with a time of 1:03.80 at the NEC Outdoor Championships.
2011-12 Indoor (Junior) - Did not compete during Indoor Season
2011 Outdoor (Sophomore) - Saw action in a pair of meets for the Red Flash … Recorded a time of 1:10.40 in the 400-meter hurdles at the Raleigh Relays … Ran with the 4x400-meter relay in in the Bennie Benson Invite helping them to a time of 4:33.56
2010-11 Indoor (Sophomore) - Posted a career best time in the 500-meter run at the NEC Championships with a mark of 1:24.25 … Recorded a career-best time in the 60-meter hurdles at the Thomson Invite with cross the line in 10.20.
2010 Outdoor (Freshman) - Markovitch set a new PR in the outdoor 100m Hurdles with a time of 16.87 at the Father Bede Invite (4/24/10)…set a new PR in the outdoor 400m Hurdles with a time of 1:08.15 at the NEC Outdoor Championships (5/1/10)
2009-10 Indoor (Freshman) - Set a PR in the indoor 200m with a time of 28.27 at the Bucknell Winter Classic (2/12/10)…at the Bison O&M (1/30/10), she set a new PR with a time of 1:04.86 in the indoor 400m…in the outdoor 500m, she set a PR with a time of 1:25.13 at the NEC Indoor Championships (2/20/10).
HIGH SCHOOL: Will compete right away for the Red Flash in sprints, especially hurdle events... holds the Deer Lakes H.S. record in the 100M?hurdles with a time of 15.61... was part of the 4x400 Relay team that broke the school record with a time of 4:07... member of National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.
PERSONAL: Coached by Matt Shibley in high school... daughter of Valerie Hemphill and David Markovitch.
