JUNIOR (2011) – Tied the school record for most shutouts in a season with nine…Finished the season with a .815 save percentage, which was third best in school history…Recorded four shutouts in a span of five games in October… Earned the adidas/NEC Defensive Player of the Week award in October, the second of her career…Started 20 of the team’s 21 games, logging 1,958 minutes in net… Made a season-high eight saves at Georgetown (9/11)… Came up big in penalty kicks against Sacred Heart (11/04) to advance SFU to the Northeast Conference title game.
SOPHOMORE (2010) – Played in eight games, drawing five starts… Posted a shutout in 3-0 win over Youngstown State (8/22)… Racked up five complete games… Named adidas/NEC Defensive Player of the Week on 8/23… Posted first career win in opener vs. Duquesne (8/20)… Made a season-high seven saves at Georgetown (8/29).
FRESHMAN (2009) - Saw action in 15 games as a freshman, starting in six… Though listed as a goalkeeper, Butcher was moved to forward due to injuries on the team … Scored her first career goal at Central Connecticut State (10/30/09)… Ended the season with 15 shots, five of which were on goal.
BEFORE SFU - Was a four-time all-league and All-Western Massachusetts First Team honoree while playing at East Longmeadow... A two-time varsity team captain... Secured six shutouts and a 0.976 goals against average during senior season when she led the Spartans to a 7-6-4 record... Helped East Longmeadow to the Western Mass. Tournament for the first time as a Division I team... also competed in indoor track and placed sixth in Long Jump in Western Mass.
PERSONAL - 2009 NEC and SFU Athletics Honor Roll selection... Physical Therapy major.
