SENIOR (2017) – Second Team All-NEC... Started all 11 games this season… Recorded 40 tackles, 28 solo, half a tackle for loss, five pass breakups and three interceptions, which he returned for 135 yards, this year... Ended his SFU career ranked third all-time at SFU with 253 career interception return yards... Assisted on a tackle against Lock Haven (9/2)… Recorded eight tackles, with four solo, vs. Wagner (9/9)… Made four stops, including two solo, against Towson (9/16)... Had a solo stop and broke up a pass at No. 22 Liberty (9/30)... Recorded seven tackles (five solo) and broke up a pass at Presbyterian (10/7)... Had two interceptions, returning them for 110 yards, and two pass breakups to go with five tackles, four solo, at Bryant (10/14)... Recorded five solo tackles at Duquesne (10/21)... Had two solo stops against Robert Morris (10//28)... Made four tackles, three solo, and had an interception, which he returned 25 yards, at CCSU (11/4)... JUNIOR (2016) – Played in all 12 games, with 10 starts, at Cornerback… Recorded 39 tackles, including 25 solo, a sack, 12 pass breakups and three interceptions, including two interceptions returned for touchdowns… Wells’ 12 pass breakups are tied for the third-most in a season at SFU… Had a 40-yard pick-six against Bryant and returned a pick for a school-record 78 yards and a touchdown at Villanova… One of eight FCS players with two pick-six’s last season… Recorded a sack and a pass breakup at Towson… Had two tackles each in games at Columbia and Albany, adding two pass breakups at Albany… Had five tackles and a pass breakup at Malone before breaking up a pass and recording a tackle at Robert Morris… Made a career-high eight stops against Bryant, including five solo, to go with two pass breakups and his 40-yard pick-six…. Had six tackles, a pass breakup and the game-sealing interception against Duquesne… Had two tackles and a pass breakup at Sacred Heart and five tackles, four solo, and two pass breakups against CCSU… Made four stops and broke up a pass at Wagner… Had three tackles and returned an interception 78 yards for a touchdown at Villanova.
SOPHOMORE (2015) – Appeared in nine games this season, including four starts, playing on defense and special teams... Started at cornerback against Towson, Youngstown State, University of Faith and East Tennessee State... Totaled 18 tackles, including 14 solo, and two pass breakups... Season-high eight tackles, with seven solo, and a pass breakup in the win at ETSU... Made six stops, including five solo, at Towson... One tackle each against Georgetown and Bryant. Had a pass breakup vs. the Hoyas... Also played against Wagner, Central Connecticut State and Robert Morris.

BEFORE SFU - Wells is a two-time All-Conference and a second-team all-district performer from Thomas Worthington High School in Columbus for head coach Scott Gordon and defensive backs coach Chris Clifton ... This past season, Wells had four interceptions while also amassing 273 receiving yards with six touchdowns ... Ran a kick back for a score ...
