GRADUATE (2015-16)- Played in four events for the Red Flash as a graduate transfer from Campbell University...Had a low round of 72 at the OBX Invite...Best finish was a tie for 27th at the Lonnie Barton Invitational...Played to a 78 stroke average over 10 rounds during graduate season.

BEFORE SFU - Straw joins the SFU men's golf team as a graduate student transfer from Campbell University ... Originally from Johnstown, Pa. and is a Bishop McCort graduate ... A two-sport athlete in high school in golf and hockey, Straw was a Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference selection from 2009-11 ... His team won the LHAC Tournament in 2011 ... Was a member of Team USA in the 2008 North America Cup and All-IJGT team.
 
PERSONAL - Kurtis is the son of Carla and Randy Straw and will pursue his MBA while at SFU.
