FRESHMAN (2015) – Made his collegiate debut at the Father Bede Invitational and finished 18th with a time of 19:55.7.

BEFORE SFU – Four-year letterman in swimming and track & field at Huntingdon Area High School … Also lettered two years in soccer … Was an All-State Honorable Mention in the 800 and 1600 meters in 2015 … As a swimmer, qualified for the district semifinals in the 200 meter freestyle and 100 meter backstroke …Was vice president of the National Honor Society at Huntingdon.

PERSONAL – Son of Kari and Douglas Tietjens … Will major in exercise physiology and physical therapy.
