SOPHOMORE (2015) – CFPA Defensive Back of the Year Award Midseason Watch List...  Started all 11 games this season at safety...  Tied for the team lead with three interceptions...  Ranked fourth on the team with 49 tackles, including 33 solo.  Also had three tackles for loss, a forced fumble and two pass breakups...  Had two interceptions, including a 35-yard pick-six, in the season-opening win against Georgetown...  Also had four tackles and a pass breakup against the Hoyas... Contributed five stops, including 1.5 for loss, at Towson...  Had six tackles each against Youngstown State and East Tennessee State before setting his season-high of eight against Wagner...  Recorded three tackles, including 1.5 for loss, and an interception at Bryant... Added five tackles, with three solo, in the victory vs. Sacred Heart...  Had two tackles, a pass breakup and a forced fumble in the win at Central Connecticut State...  Ended the season with five-tackle performances against Robert Morris and Duquesne.

FRESHMAN (2014) – Started in all 11 games for Saint Francis … NEC Rookie of the Week (10/27) … 21 tackles, 2.5 sacks on the season … Recorded five tackles against Duquesne.

BEFORE SFU - Boyd was a first-team all-state selection at linebacker at both the Class AAAA and Class AAA levels at Lackey High ... An all-county and all-conference selection on both sides of the ball, starring at wide receiver as well as linebacker ... A Crab Bowl selection, Boyd had nine tackles, four tackles for loss, an interception and a touchdown.
