Biography

Saint Francis University: Served as a team manager for the Red Flash men’s basketball team each of the past three seasons.

High School: Five-time qualifier for Bowler-of-the-Year while competing for Altoona Area High School… participated in Pepsi Tournament five straight years… participated in Pennsylvania women's state tournament in 2010, held in Wilkes-Barre… averaged 190, had a high series of 702, and a high game of 252… also competed in track & field and softball at Altoona… honor roll student, and also maintained a perfect attendance throughout high school.

Personal: Born Christina Marie Medley on Dec. 6, 1988... parents are David and Mary Medley ... has three sisters Erin (26), Meghan (16), and Caleigh (11) and brother Jonathan (29)...Accounting major.

Relatives that play collegiate/ pro sports? Sean Pacifico, football, St. Francis and Erin Medley,softball, Wilmington College

Career goal? Move to California and work for a major company.

College bowling goal? To get a 300 game by the end of the season

Proudest moment in your life? Making Dean’s List

Biggest obstacle you’ve overcome? My parents divorce

Rare or interesting accomplishments? I was on the White Tiger Competition Team for Karate in which I won 10 gold medals in fighting

Something about you that people would be surprised to hear? I have been playing musical instruments since I was in fifth grade.

Hobbies/Interests? Writing music, rollerblading, tennis, racquetball, basketball, and Karate/kickboxing

Hero/Idol: My mother, she has been through so much and she stayed strong. She is my best friend and she is the backbone that keeps me going.

Event you are looking forward to the most this season? The tournament in New Jersey

Why did you choose St. Francis? It is small, close to home, and the atmosphere is great. I have an extended family because of how close the interaction is on campus.

What do you like about Coach Tom Falbo? His energy and passion.
