REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2017) - Named to the NEC All-Tournament team, stopping 15 of 16 shots in the two NEC Tournament games...allowed just two goals on five penalty attempts in the penalty shootout win over FDU in the NEC Final (11/5)... Started all 21 matches in goal and recorded eight clean sheets....allowed just four goals in eight conference matches...posted four saves in a clean sheet at VMI (8/31)...made four saves in a shutout of Loyola (Md.) (9/3)...tied her career-high with 13 saves at George Washington (9/10)...stopped all three shots in a 3-0 win over Radford (9/17)...notched a shutout in a 2-0 win vs. Sacred Heart in SFU's conference opener (9/29)...tallied eight saves in a 2-1 win over Bryant (10/1)...tallied three saves in a shutout victory over Robert Morris (10/8)...made nine saves on 10 shots at CCSU (10/13)...Made four saves in a 2-0 win at Wagner (10/15)....stopped nine shots in a 2-1 win vs. CCSU in the NEC Semifinal (11/3).

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2016) - Tied for the third most clean sheets in single-season program history with eight....Recorded 123 saves on the season to earn NEC All-Rookie honors...Three-time NEC Defensive Player of the Week...Posted a GAA of 1.50 and a Save % of .783...Made a career-high 13 saves at West Virginia (8/28)...Stopped 10 shots vs. Duquesne (9/23)...Stopped all six shots she faced in the NEC Tournament to post two clean sheets...Made eight saves in the NCAA Tournament game at Georgetown (11/13).

BEFORE SFU - While her scholastic credentials have certainly stacked up, Hernan has more than made a name for herself as a member of the Vincent United Football Club ... In 2012, she helped her squad to an appearance in the state semifinals and followed that up with Washing Area Girls Soccer League titles in 2013 and 2014 ... On the high school pitch, Hernan guided The Hill School to Pennsylvania Independent School State Championships in 2011 and 2012 and a Mid-Atlantic Prep title (2011) ... A four-year starter and her team's 2014 MVP and co-captain, she garnered All-Mid-Atlantic Prep League first team plaudits as a senior.
