SENIOR (2020)- Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

JUNIOR (2019) - Appeared in all fifteen matches this season making 9 total starts...Tallied 3 assists on the year.

SOPHOMORE (2018) - First Team All-NEC..Started in 14 of the 17 matches on the year.. Recorded his first career goal against NJIT (9/5)...Registered an assist in three games against Bucknell (9/2), Cal State Fullerton (9/23), and Central Connecticut (10/19). Compiled season-high six shots in 0-0 tie against Fairleigh Dickinson (10/12). 

FRESHMAN (2017) - Has appeared in five matches...made his collegiate debut vs. Duquesne, assisting on the tying-goal...was named NEC Rookie of the Week for his efforts.

BEFORE SFU: Smolyn was recognized by TopDrawer soccer as a top 11 player in the region for the 2015-16 season. He starred for Continental FC Delco Academy and coach Johnny Rhodes and is the brother of CJ, a freshman on the men's soccer team.
