BEFORE SFU: Smolyn is a 6-1 196 pound midfielder from Holland, Pennsylvania in eastern Pennsylvania. Smolyn has served as the captain of USSDA CFC-Delco as well as the Philly-Area Futsal Club. He helped the Futsal Club to region and Atlantic titles and was twice a national semi-finalist. He also was a starting midfielder for the Match Fit Academy, helping them earn a playoff spot. CJ is the son of Tracey Smolyn and Chris Smolyn Sr.
