Biography
SENIOR (2020-21)- Competed in all three meets … at NEC Championships, finished 12th in the 200 free (1:56.35), 16th in the 100 back (58.85) and also swam the 200 back (2:08.05), swimming season-best times in all three events … was the runner up in the 200 free relay at Duquesne (1:42.54) … finished second in the 400 free relay against Duquesne (3:39.51) … finished third in the 200 back against Duquesne (2:12.18) … finished fourth in the 100 back (1:00.85) and 200 back (2:12.26) at Duquesne … finished fourth in the 200 medley relay (1:52.60) and 100 back (1:01.06) against Duquesne.
JUNIOR (2019-20) – Swam in nine meets … at the NEC Championships, finished sixth in the 800 free relay (7:41.79), 10th in the 200 back (2:06.06), 12th in the 100 back (58.24) and also competed in the 500 free … won the 100 back against Siena (59.85) … won the 400 medley at the NJIT Invitational (4:00.60) and against Duquesne (3:58.56) … won the 200 medley relay at the NJIT Invitational (1:50.33) and against Siena (1:50.47) … won the 300 back relay at the St. Petersburg Classic Relays (3:06.05) … was the runner up in the 200 back (2:13.38) and 200 medley relay (1:51.22) against LIU … finished second in the 100 back at the NJIT Invitational (1:00.75) … finished second in the 200 medley relay against Liberty (1:49.03) … totaled 19 top-five finishes this season.

FRESHMAN (2017-18) – At the NEC Championships, finished 11th in the 100 Backstroke (58.88), 16th in the 200 Backstroke (2:08.06) and 18th in the 500 Freestyle (5:11.92). In the 200 Medley Relay, helped the squad to post a time of 1:47.69. Part of the 10th-fastest 200 Medley Relay time in program history… At Bowling Green (9/29), finished third in the 100 Backstroke (1:00.97) and aided a third-place finish in the 200 Medley Relay (1:52.69)… At the Justin Jennings Invite (10/6), placed 13th in the 200 Backstroke (2:15.54), 15th in the 100 Backstroke (1:01.63) and 20th in the 500 Freestyle (5:27.36) as well as helping the 200 Medley Relay team to an eighth-place finish (1:53.25)… In the Northeast Catholic Invitational (10/13), earned a 10th-place finish in the 100 Backstroke (1:03.05), 17th-place in the 200 Backstroke (2:18.33) and 18th in the 500 Freestyle (5:26.04). Helped the 200 Medley Relay squad to a second-place finish (1:52.61) and 400 Medley Relay team to a seventh-place finish (4:06.97)… In a meet vs. Wagner (10/28), helped the 200 Medley Relay team to finish third (1:50.71). Followed with a second-place performance in the 200 Medley Relay (1:51.45) vs. LIU Brooklyn (11/4)… At the Magnus Cup (11/17), placed 13th in the 50 Backstroke (28.59) and 29th in the 200 Backstroke (2:11.90)… In the ECAC Winter Championships (12/1), finished 13th in the 200 Backstroke (2:10.47) and 20th in the 100 Backstroke (1:01.00)… In the meet vs. Delaware/Iona (1/14), helped the 400 Freestyle Relay squad to a third-place finish (3:46.93)… At the Western PA Invite (1/27), placed 16th in the 200 Backstroke (2:14.90) and 19th in the 200 Freestyle (2:04.86). Part of a 12th-place finish in the 200 Medley Relay (1:52.60).
BEFORE SFU - A Slovenia native, Medvesek has career-best times of 27.87 in the 50 SCM Freestyle, 4:32.10 in the 400 SCM Freestyle, 1:04.54 in the 100 SCM Backstroke and 2:17.55 in the 200 SCM Backstroke. Her AAU team, Swimming Club Branik Maribor, won the Slovenia National Championship in 2014 and placed second in 2015, 2016 and 2017. She plans to major in Communications at Saint Francis.
