Biography
SENIOR (2020-21)- Competed in all three meets … at the NEC Championships, finished 16th in the 100 breast (1:09.90), also swimming the 200 IM (2:22.44) and 200 breast (2:38.82) … swam season-bests in all three events at the NEC Championships … finished fourth in the 100 breast at Duquesne (1:14.33) … finished fifth in the 200 breast (2:45.66) and 400 medley relay (4:16.12) at Duquesne … finished fifth in the 400 free relay against Duquesne (4:03.24) … finished sixth in the 200 breast against Duquesne (2:41.82).
JUNIOR (2019-20) – Swam in seven meets … competed at the NEC Championships … finished fifth in the 200 medley relay against Liberty (1:56.20) … finished fifth in the 400 medley relay against Duquesne (4:24.23) … finished sixth in the 100 breast against Siena (1:14.94) … finished seventh in the 200 IM against Siena (2:28.17) … totaled nine top-10 finishes this season.
SOPHOMORE (2018-19) – Against Bowling Green (9/28), finished sixth in the 200 Medley Relay, eighth in the 50 Breaststroke, eighth in the 100 Breaststroke and ninth in the 200 Freestyle Relay...At the New England Catholic Invite (10/6), finished 44th in the 200 IM (2:33.15), 18th in the 400 Medley Relay (4:23.64), 14th in the 200 Medley Relay (1:59.04), 31st in the 100 Backstroke (1:17.48) and 28th in the 200 Breaststroke (2:48.76)...Against Wagner (10/27), competed in the 100 Breaststroke (1:14.88), sixth in the 200 Breaststroke (2:48.03) and competed in the 200 IM (2:32.97)...Against LIU Brooklyn (11/3), competed in the 100 Breaststroke (1:14.58), in the 200 Breaststroke (2:45.99) and the 200 IM (2:31.14)...Against California University of Pennsylvania (11/7), finished third in the 100 Breaststroke (1:15.79) and fourth in the 200 Breaststroke (2:47.99)...In the Magnus Cup (11/16-18), finished 34th in the 100 IM (1:07.71)...At the ECAC Winter Championships, finished 84th in the 200 IM (2:31.24), 145th in the 50 Freestyle (29.52), 59th in the 100 Breaststroke (1:14.80) and 49th in the 200 Breaststroke (2:47.25)...Against Siena (1/12), participated in the 200 Medley Relay (1:59.84), 10th in the 50 Freestyle (29.50) and sixth in the 100 Breaststroke (1:15.23)...At the YSU Tri-Meet, 11th in the 400 Medley Relay (4:23.92), ninth in the 100 Breaststroke (1:17.91), and eighth in the 200 Breaststroke (2:49.37)...At the Western Pennsylvania Invitational, finished 21st in the 200 Medley Relay (2:03.39), 43rd in the 50 Freestyle (29:06), and 17th in the 200 IM (2:28.94)...At the NEC Championships (2/13-16), participated in the 100 Breaststroke (1:11.40), participated in the 200 Breaststroke (2:39.15), and participated in the 200 IM (2:22.31)...
FRESHMAN (2017-18) – At the Justin Jennings Invitational (10/6), finished 25th in the 200 Breaststroke (2:52.17) and 29th in the 100 Breaststroke (1:17.88)… In the Northeast Catholic Invitational (10/13), placed 31st in the 100 Breaststroke (1:18.22).
BEFORE SFU - Hutchins competed on the varsity swim team for Greensburg Central Catholic. She helped the Centurions to PIAA Titles in 2014 and 2016, WPIAL Championships in 2014 and 2016 and three Sectional titles. She qualified for the WPIAL Championships the last three years, competing in the 100-yard Breaststroke and 200-yard IM. In 2017, she recorded times of 1:14.58 in the 100-yard Breaststroke and 2:28.95 in the 200-yard IM. Hutchins is a member of the National Honor Society.
