JUNIOR (2011) – Started in 23 of the 26 matches he appeared in … finished second on the team with a career-high 153 kills, 55 blocks (seven solo, 48 assisted) and 17 service aces … his hitting percentage of .352 was good for ninth in the EIVA … recorded 14 digs … picked up a season-high 13 kills apiece at home versus both NJIT (1/23) and Harvard (2/18) … ended the season with a total 201.0 points … reached the double-digit mark in kills on six separate occasions, including a stretch of four matches in a row during the middle half of the season.
SOPHOMORE (2010) - Appeared in seven matches in 2010, playing in a total of 16 sets … earned his first career start against Ohio State in the Red Flash’s 3-1 win (1/17) … recorded seven kills in his season debut against Sacred Heart (1/16) … had four kills and four blocks against Ohio State (1/17) … had a career-high eight kills against Harvard (1/24) … had two service aces apiece against Ohio State (1/17) and Harvard (1/24).
FRESHMAN (2009) - Played in five matches in 2009, recording two kills, one assist and one block … threw down two kills against Quincy (3/11/09).
BEFORE SFU - Was the WPIAL Class AAA co-Player of the Year in 2008 … named all-section first team and all-WPIAL in 2007 and 2008 at North Allegheny H.S., where he played for head coach Dan Schall … named all-Pennsylvania in 2008, and was a Finest 40 selection in 2007 and 2008 … had 337 kills, a .494 hitting percentage, 143 blocks and 23 aces as a senior.
