  • She earned the Patriotism Medal in 2017 for distinguished military bearing and academic excellence and received the Fittest Cadet in the Regiment award in 2018.

O'Donnell on Hernandez: "Lexi is coming from a strong military background and has seen great success on the field. She currently attends Admiral Farragut Academy (a military high school) and has held several leadership positions throughout her time there, on and off the field. She has a very consistent and powerful bat and can literally play every position defensively. A true team player and one of the hardest workers you will ever meet. Expect to see great discipline and fight in her performance. We are so excited to have Lexi on board and looking forward to getting her here."
