Saint Francis University Athletics

Kosie Shepherd-Porada joined the Saint Francis staff in March 2021. She was promoted to Head Athletic Trainer ATII Site Coordinator in October 2022. During the 2023-24 athletic year, she works with football and men's and women's cross country and track & field. 

Prior to Saint Francis, Shepherd-Porada spent 17 years from 2004-20 at Westmont Hilltop School District providing athletic training coverage for over 25 varsity and junior varsity sports teams. She also served as a graduate assistant at Indiana Area High School (2003-04) and Purchase Line High School (2002-03).

Shepherd-Porada earned her Master of Science in Sport and Exercise Studies from IUP in 2005 after she earned her Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine-Athletic Training from IUP in 2002.

Shepherd-Porada resides in Seward with her husband Mike and four dogs.
