Laskey was one of the top scoring guards in the WPIAL in recent memory, leading the league in scoring at 33.4 points per game as a senior. A three-time All-County performer and two-time First Team All-Section selection, Laskey was named Section MVP in his junior and senior seasons. He was also named First Team All 5-A his final two seasons and was a Pittsburgh Tribune-Review 10 All Star. He graduated from Laurel Highlands as the school’s second all-time leading scorer. In addition to exceeding 30 points per game as a senior, he also averaged 8.6 rebounds per game and 6.8 assists per game. Laskey averaged 16.2 points per game for his AAU team, Bridge City.
