Barron joined the Red Flash in July 2018 and served two years as a graduate assistant while he pursues a masters degree.
Saint Francis had unprecedented success during Barron's time, going a combined 40-25 and appearing in two NEC Championship games.Â
With Barron on the bench, SFU molded two NEC Player of the Years in Keith Braxton (2018-19) and Isaiah Blackmon (2019-20).
Barron was a four-year member of the basketball program at Hazleton Area High School and a two-year varsity starter.
He went on to play four seasons on the Desales University men's basketball team where he was named to the All-MAC Freedom Conference Sportsmanship Team.
After graduating, he worked numerous Hoop Group camps including Hoop Group Skills, Hoop Group Jamfest and Hoop Group Elite.
He volunteered at Lehigh University before accepting the position at SFU.
