JUNIOR (2010): Posted a 29th place finish to open the season at the Mount St. Mary’s 5-kiolometer invite with a time of 16:33 ranking him third on the team (Sept. 9)… posted a 168th place finish at the Spike Shoe Invite at Penn State with a time of 29:50 on the 5.2 mile course Sept. 11 … Posted his final finish of the season at Sean Earl Lakefront Invite coming across the line in 326th with a time of 28:22 on the 8K course.

SOPHOMORE (2009): Finished 43rd in the 5K with a time of 17:07 at the Mount Saint Mary's 5k Duals (Sept. 4).

FRESHMAN (2008): Burns took 32nd (21:30.48) in first-ever collegiate event at the Bucknell Bison Cross Country Opener.

Fall 2008 and spring 2009 SFU Academic Honor Roll student… fall 2008, winter 2009 and spring 2009 NEC Academic Honor Roll… English/Secondary Education major.
