SENIOR (2016) - A Third Team NSCAA All-America for the third time in his career as well as a Second Team Academic All-American...First Team All-NEC Defender and an ECAC All-Star...Started all 20 matches at center back, finishing the season with three goals and an assist...helped solidify a back line that recorded a school-record 10 shutouts and 0.72 GAA...Scored a free kick goal in a win vs. Howard (10/4)...recorded an assist in a win over LIU Brooklyn (10/16)...Scored twice in a victory over CCSU (10/28)...Named to the NEC All-Tournament Team.

JUNIOR (2015) - NAMED NEC and ECAC DEFENDER OF THE YEAR...Named All-America by the NSCAA for second-straight year...Named First-Team All-Region...Started all 20 games for the Red Flash, anchoring the back line. Second on the team with six goals and 16 points, converted both of his penalty kicks...Second on the team with two game-winning goals including the 2-1 victory over Robert Morris in the NEC Semi-Finals...Named to the NEC All-Tournament team

SOPHOMORE (2014) - Started in all 20 games during the 2014 season … recorded the second highest goal total for the Flash with 6 … was ranked 11th in the nation in game winning goals with 5 … registered 11 shots on goal out of 20 total shots taken … named the NEC Defensive Player of the Year … received All-NEC First Team and NEC All-Tournament Team honors … was an ECAC All-Star Selection and an NSCAA All-Region Selection … became the program’s first ever NSCAA All-America Selection.

FRESHMAN (2013) - Started in all 19 games played during his freshman season for Saint Francis ... earned freshman of the week honors twice ... named to the NSCAA second team ... selected to the All-NEC First Team ... landed spot on the College Soccer News Second All-Freshman Squad.

BEFORE SFU - Francis de Vries most recently has seen time with the Canterbury United club team. The squad competes in the ASB Premiership, which is the top level of soccer in New Zealand. While with the Canterbury United Youth team in 2011, de Vries and the Dragons captured the New Zealand U18 championship. In 2012 de Vries secured another league championship, this time the Switzerland U18 championship with FC Basel. At Cashmere High School de Vries was named Junior Soccer Player of the Year.
