Shane Tay is in his ninth year at Saint Francis University in 2025-26, and his fifth year as Senior Associate Director of Athletics for Internal Operations. Tay joined Saint Francis University in May of 2017 as the Assistant Director of Athletics for Compliance.
Tay came to Loretto from Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina where he served as Director of Compliance since April of 2016. Tay worked his way up to the Director of Compliance position after starting as an intern in the compliance office. From there, he was promoted to the Assistant Director of Compliance, a position he held for three years.
Tay graduated summa cum laude from Slippery Rock University in 2012 with a degree in sports management and minors in marketing and business administration. He earned his Master’s of Business Administration from Coastal Carolina in 2015.
Shane and his wife, Caitlyn, a first grade teacher at Charles W. Longer Elementary School in Hollidaysburg, reside in Hollidaysburg with their son Brayden, and daughter Brooke.
