Ry Godde joined the Saint Francis softball staff as a volunteer assistant coach ahead of the 2024 season. She joined the staff under head coach Beth Krysiak, who was hired as the 13th head coach in program history on Aug. 8, 2023.Â

In her first season, Godde assisted Saint Francis to NEC Tournament and NEC Regular Season titles. She was part of the NEC Coaching Staff of the Year alongside Krysiak and assistant coach Mel Savala. Godde assisted with the infield and worked primarily as the first base coach.

Godde works with campus ministry at Saint Francis along with her volunteer coaching status with the softball program.

Prior to Saint Francis, Godde played six seasons at former NEC member Mount St. Mary’s from 2018-23. She appeared in 199 games with 189 starts primarily at shortstop for the Mountaineers. She had a career .265 batting average with 23 doubles, five triples, seven home runs and 59 RBIs. She added a .314 on-base percentage and 35 stolen bases.
