Adrianna Dowdy was hired as women's basketball's director of operations in July 2022.
Dowdy began her coaching career as a graduate assistant in August 2019 for NCAA Division I member Incarnate Word. With the Cardinals, she assisted with organizing practices, following all NCAA compliance rules and with the post players. She was on a coaching staff that helped Incarnate Word win the Southland Conference and earn its first NCAA Tournament appearance.
She earned her Master of Business Administration from Incarnate Word in May 2022. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Becker College, where she played basketball and softball. On the basketball team, Dowdy was a three-time All-NECC and All-WACBA selection and became the first men's or women's player in Becker history with 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in a career. Becker was an NECC Champion her junior season and she was a two-year captain. She was also a NECC Champion her freshman year as a member of the softball program.
