Bria Young was named assistant coach at Saint Francis in September 2018.
Young played one season with the Red Flash in 2011-12 before transferring to Philadelphia-Thomas Jefferson University. She shined for the Rams, scoring 1,067 points in three seasons as their starting point guard before graduating in 2015.

After graduation, Young tried out for and made the Harlem Globetrotters, becoming just the 14th female player in the 92-year history of the traveling squad. Dubbed "Swish" by the Globetrotters, Young recently finished a 17-country global tour with the team.

A Philadelphia native, Young also runs a youth basketball camp in her home town. The Bria Young Basketball camp offers a variety of camps and clinics including a free youth camp.
