SFU earned the No. 3 seed in the NEC Tournament and concluded the season ranking fifth in the country in free-throw percentage (.791).

In her role as graduate

Knab came to Loretto after a successful four-year playing career at Chatham University. She was a team captain for her final two seasons and was part of a team that set a program record for wins in a season and earned the only playoff appearances in program history.

The Altoona, Pa. native was a fitness intern at Wade Trained Performance and Fitness in Coraopolis, Pa. Knab has also worked at youth basketball clinics through the Pennsylvania Yellow Jackets AAU Organization in Altoona, Pa., and the Ferris Boys and Girls Club in McKees Rocks, Pa.

Knab graduated from Chatham in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a minor in psychology.

Coach Whittington on Knab’s promotion: "I realized that I did not have to look far to find the right person to serve as our DOBO. Natalie is willing to work her way to the top to achieve her goal of becoming a Division I college coach. She has a unique love for the game that is sometimes hard to find, and she is willing to put in the work to make sure that everything is running smoothly in our program.”
