Head Coach Ashley Bingham heads into the 2023-24 bowling season in her fourth year as the third head bowling coach in program history.
Bingham, a Saint Francis graduate, is widely regarded as one of the most accomplished bowlers in program history after competing as a four-year letterwinner with the Red Flash from 2012-2016.
Her success as a collegiate bowler has translated to her time as the head coach, evident in the Red Flash improving their win total each of her three seasons at the helm.
The 2022-23 season saw Bingham’s squad reach new heights. The Red Flash claimed the top spot at the Seahawk Classic in November and was named the All-Tournament Team at the James Brown Invitational in February on their way to a place in the NEC postseason tournament in March. First-year bowlers Mackenzie Keane and Ayanna Carroll were named to the NEC All-Rookie team, with Keane earning NEC Rookie of the Year honors and a spot on the All-Conference Second Team.
Bingham’s first full season - the 2021-22 campaign - was also the season following the COVID-19 pandemic. After a slow start, the Red Flash picked up pace by midseason, earning a second-place finish in the Red Flash Invitational and finishing in the top half of the final five non-conference tournaments.
Bingham returned to her alma mater after serving one year as a bowling assistant at La Roche University, where she helped the Redhawks achieve many conference academic honors in the COVID-19-shortened season.

The former Howe-Yorio graduated from Saint Francis in December 2016 with a bachelor of science in social work and a minor in education. She helped lead the team to two NEC Regular Season Championships (2013-14 and 2015-16) and a conference Tournament Championship (2014) in her four seasons with the Red Flash.
Her performance in her final year with the Red Flash earned her the NEC Bowler of the Year award and a spot on the NTCA All-American Honorable Mention Team. She led the team with a 196.57 traditional average and a 20.0 Baker average, the latter being a program record. She also remains the program record holder for the highest traditional average in a season (200.35 in 2012-13).
