Saint Francis University Athletics

Teresa Urquizu enters her second season as the assistant women’s golf coach in 2014-15. She helped guide Saint Francis to a second-place finish in the 2013-14 Northast Conference Championship, SFU's best finish in the tournament since the 2007 campaign.

The Red Flash also saw three of its student-athletes recognized by the NEC in 2013-14, with two earning All-NEC First Team nods, and one earning a spot on the All-NEC Second Team.  

Urquizu, who hails from Spain, comes to Loretto after a four-year collegiate career at Campbell University in North Carolina.

Urquizu holds an extensive golf background, including both pro shop sales experience and regional managing experience with Basque Country’s Golf Federation in Spain.

Urquizu graduated from Campbell in 2013 with a degree in Business Administration. She will also be working towards her MBA degree during her time at Saint Francis.
