Gregg Gebhard enters his fifth season in charge of the Saint Francis University's women's lacrosse program in 2015-16. Under his watch, the Red Flash have had some of the most successful seasons in program history.

Gebhard led the Red Flash to wins over Mercer, Gardner-Webb, and Delaware State in 2015. With Gebhard’s second win of the season he became the program’s all-time winningest coach. He coached Kimberly Gronski to an All-NEC Second Team selection as the senior led the Saint Francis defense during the season. Gronski graduates as Saint Francis’ fourth all-time leader in ground balls with 96. She is the fifth All-NEC selection the program has had.

During his third year at Saint Francis, Gebhard coached Danielle Conwell to an All-NEC First Team selection, the first ever in program history. Conwell led the NEC in assists and points per game and finished fifth in goals per game, she also was named the NEC's women's lacrosse scholar-athlete. Conwell leaves Loretto as the all-time leader in goals, points, and is tied for first all-time in assists. Gebhard was just two wins away from holding the record for most wins in program history as head coach after his third season.

Gebhard also was selected to give a presentation at the U.S. Lacrosse National Convention in Philadelphia in early 2014. His presentation focused on offensive 'woman-up' situations. The audience consisted of lacrosse coaches, officials and administrators. There were also more than 150 on-field demonstrations, clinics and educational sessions conducted throughout the convention.

In 2013, Gebhard saw his team net 153 total goals and the squad received significant contributions from its freshmen class. Under Gebhard's watch, freshman Katie Schaaf led the team with 45 points (18 goals, 27 assists), including an SFU record six-assist game in a win over LIU Brooklyn. 113 of the 153 goals scored in 2013 came from the Flash' freshmen class.

During his first year as head coach, Gebhard had 14 student-athletes named to the NEC Academic Honor Roll and had a player named to the NEC All-Rookie Team.

A native of Long Island, N.Y., Gebhard began his coaching career in 1998 at NCAA Division II Pfeiffer University, North Carolina. He spent four years at the helm and led Pfeiffer to their first national ranking within four years of becoming a varsity sport.

In August 2003, Gebhard became the head women's lacrosse coach at Greensboro College, an NCAA Division III institution. He compiled a 19-3 record in the USA South Conference, winning two regular season championships and one tournament championship in four seasons.

While at Greensboro, he coached 22 All-USAS Conference players, 17 All-Academic USAS selections, two regional All-Americans and one ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American.

He then moved to Bucknell University where he served as the offensive coordinator and led the team to a school-record 12.8 goals per game average in the 2007-08 season.

Following his stint in Lewisburg, Gebhard spent two years as an assistant at Ohio State serving at offensive coordinator, recruiting coordinator and assisting with player development. During his time with the Buckeyes, he helped lead the program to an impressive 14.8 goals per game average while coaching six All-Conference performers, two All-Region selections, an All-America selection and a Rookie of the Year.

He also sat on the 2010 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Association Regional All-American Committee.
