SOPHOMORE (2016-17) – Holds the eighth-best time at SFU in the 200-yard Backstroke (2:07.45)… At the NEC Championships, finished 10th in the 400-yard IM (4:37.40) and 14th in the 200-yard Butterfly (2:12.73)… At the Colgate Fall Classic, placed seventh in the 200-yard Butterfly (2:16.71) and ninth in the 200-yard Backstroke (2:16.74)… At the Northeast Catholic Invitational, earned three Top 10 finishes, including the 400-yard IM (7th, 4:52.16), 200-yard Backstroke (8th, 2:15.72) and 200-yard Butterfly (8th, 2:15.74)… Placed second in the 200-yard Butterfly against LIU Brooklyn (10/29), with a time of 2:17.02… Against Lock Haven (12/3), won the 200-yard IM (2:18.58) and finished second in the 200-yard Freestyle (2:04.65)… Finished third in the 200-yard IM (2:18.88) against Youngstown State (1/13)… Earned second-place finishes against Duquesne (1/14) in the 100-yard Butterfly (1:03.39) and 200-yard Butterfly (2:14.64)… Placed second in the 200-yard Butterfly against Siena (1/19), with a time of 2:15.65.
FRESHMAN (2015-16) – Finished eighth at the NEC Championships in the 200-yard Butterfly, with a time of 2:08.09, which ranks fourth in program history. Also placed 10th in the 400-yard IM, with a pace of 4:34.91, and 14th in the 200-yard Backstroke, with a time of 2:07.45, which ranks fifth in program history… Had four Top 3 finishes in the 200-yard Butterfly, including a win at Siena(1/23)… Recorded two Top Three finishes in the 200-yard Backstroke and 200-yard IM events… Placed second in the 100-yard Backstroke at St. Francis Brooklyn(10/10)… Combined with Amanda Crnic, Mary Kish and Katie Lafferty for a win in the 200-yard Medley at Lock Haven(1/15), with a time of 1:57.50.
BEFORE SFU – O’Dell was a member of the Northwood High School swim team.
PERSONAL - Rory plans on studying Health Science, specifically on the Physical Therapy track while at Saint Francis.
