JUNIOR (2018-19) - Went 1-1 in singles and 1-1 in No. 3 doubles with Stephanie Miller.

SOPHOMORE (2017-18) – Went 2-2 in singles and 0-4 in doubles this year… In dual matches, went 1-0 in singles, playing at No. 6, and 0-1 in doubles, combining with Stephanie Miller at No. 3… Defeated Mount St. Mary’s Emma Blake, 6-0, 7-5, in the NEC Tournament.

FRESHMAN (2016-17) – Went 13-14 in singles and combined with four different partners in doubles for a 6-5 record… In dual matches, went 9-9 in singles, playing all matches at No. 5, and 1-1 in doubles… Dunleavy went 3-1 in singles against NEC opponents… Paired with Raksha Bode, Laura Gutierrez, Brittini Jentz and Stephanie Miller in doubles.  Combined with Bode for a win at No. 2.

BEFORE SFU - Dunleavy joins the Red Flash after a standout career at Mercy High School.  She was the 61st-ranked player in the Midwest as an 18 year-old after being ranked 82nd as a 16 year-old.  Dunleavy was a three-time All-State honoree, receiving the award in 2013, 2015 and 2016 as well as the recipient of the Harvey Barcus Tennis Award in 2016.  She won the sportsmanship award at a level 3 tournament in 2014 and was named the USTA Midwest volunteer of the month for helping to create an after-school tennis program for a Catholic grade school in an underprivileged area of Detroit.  She is also a strong performer in the classroom, where she was a Scholar-Athlete and the French Honors Society student of the year in 2014, 2015 and 2016. 

PERSONAL - The daughter of Maryanne and Michael Dunleavy, Kathryn intends to pursue a career as a Physician’s Assistant.
