SOPHOMORE (2017-18) – Went 10-16 in singles and 15-13 in doubles, leading the team in doubles wins… In dual matches, earned five singles wins at No. 2 and went 8-9 in doubles… Combined with Nastasia Tamarkin for eight wins at No. 1 doubles… In NEC play, went 2-3 in singles and 3-2 in doubles.
FRESHMAN (2016-17) – NEC All-Rookie Team…
Went 14-15 in singles and combined with five different partners in doubles for a 10-16 record… In dual matches, went 9-10 in singles, playing at No. 1 and 2, and 7-12 in doubles… Went 2-6 at No. 1 and 7-4 at No. 2 in singles… Gutierrez went 5-0 against NEC opponents in singles… Paired with Raksha Bode, Kathryn Dunleavy, Stephanie Miller, Brittany Plaszewski and Lucia Seigford in doubles. Combined with Miller for four wins at No. 1 and Seigford for a 3-3 mark at No. 1.
BEFORE SFU - Gutierrez comes to Loretto as the top-ranked 18 year-old in Colombia. She was also the top-ranked player as a 16 year-old. Gutierrez won the national grade 1 Medellin and grade 1 Bogota tournaments. She was also a semifinalist at the COSAT Ecuador tournament. She was also named the Colombia National Player of the Year. She won the Ignatian Magis award at her high school as the student of the year.
