Ben Kasun joins the women's volleyball coaching staff in preparation for the 2022 season. 

Kasun joins the Red Flash from Penn State Behrend College where he also served as the assistant coach and recruiter for both the men’s and women’s volleyball programs.

During his time at Penn State Behrend, Kasun helped lead both volleyball teams to Conference Championships and achieved a Conference Player of the Year for both squads as well. In addition, the Altoona, Pa., native was responsible for the recruitment of both teams for the 2022-2023 seasons where he successfully recruited players from all over the country.

Prior to his stint in Erie, Pa., Kasun led the men’s and women’s volleyball teams of Barton College in Wilson, N.C. as an assistant coach after graduating from Barton in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in sports management.
 
During his collegiate career, Kasun was an All-Conference selection in 2020 and was named to the Academic All-Conference team twice. While leading the Bulldogs to win the Conference Carolinas Title and make an appearance at the Division I NCAA Championships in 2019.
