Jamie McGreal

Saint Francis head women’s volleyball coach Sara McMullen officially named Jamie McGreal as an assistant coach on Monday, August 12, 2019.

McGreal was the head coach at LaGrange College from 2014-16, posting a 53-50 record in three seasons, culminating with a 22-14 record and appearance in the USA South Tournament Semifinal.

"I am so excited to welcome Jamie to the Red Flash Volleyball family," said McMullen. "Success has followed her everywhere she has gone from her playing days to her time as a head coach. She is going to bring great energy and knowledge to our team and we can't wait for her to get started."

Under her tutelage, LaGrange produced its first USA South All-Conference selections in program history.

She has served as the head coach at Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School for the past two seasons, leading the Golden Tigers to back-to-back PA District 6 Playoff Finals.

McGreal was a standout volleyball player in her own right at Frostburg State University in Maryland.

A team captain, she led the Bobcats to four conference championships and appearances in the NCAA DIII Championships. She was a two-time all-league selection, earning second team honors as a senior in 2010. She currently ranks second in Frostburg State program history in career aces and digs and holds the single-game and single season records for aces.

McGreal is a member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
