After graduation, I plan to? I would most like to move to the Montana/ Colorado Region and teach in an elementary school hopefully as a third grade teacher, and also be a volleyball coach for the local high school. Also, continuing my education as a teacher.

Favorite thing to do in your free time? Something outdoors

Favorite Restaurant? Deer Oak Restaurant and Bar

Why did you choose Saint Francis? I chose Saint Francis because I really enjoyed the volleyball program and all of the girls on the team I met when I came to visit. I also really enjoyed the education program, it had everything I wanted in learning to be a teacher. I also chose this school because I instantly fell in love with the area, it reminded me of home.

JUNIOR (2013) – Appeared in a team-high 27 matches during the 2013 season, including 26 starts … Finished the season with 273 points, 234 kills, 167 digs and 20 service aces … She ranked second on the team in kills and service aces … She totaled 19 kills twice, against St. Francis Brooklyn (10/06) and Bryant (10/12) … Finished the year averaging 2.84 points per set and 2.44 kills per set.

SOPHOMORE (2012) – Appeared in 28 matches in 2012, 22 of which she started … She finished 3rd on the team in both points and kills with 270 and 221, respectively … In a match against St. Francis-Brooklyn, she tallied 20 total kills (11/11). 

FRESHMAN (2011) - Started 17 of the 20 games she appeared in… Played in first career match against Duquesne (8/26)…Recorded 11 assists, 13 service aces, and 51 digs on the season…Finished her freshman campaign with 82 kills, including a season-high 11 against Marist (8/27)…Her 308 total attacks ranked sixth on the team…Had 10 total attacks or more in 15 games…Recorded double-digit points in three games, finishing the season with 101.

BEFORE SFU – Helped lead Crestwood to district playoffs three years in a row … compiled 675 kills and 157 blocks throughout her high school career … received her league’s Player of the Year honors following her senior season … two-time All-State selection and three-time All-Wyoming Valley Conference honoree … two-year captain.

PERSONAL – Born on July 1, 1993 … daughter of Joseph Kubiski and Jeanne Jeckell … Elementary Education major.
