Saint Francis University football announced the hiring of Matt Hoyman as the program’s director of football operations in May 2024.
Hoyman joins the Saint Francis staff after he recently spent time as an intern with Pitt football as an equipment manager. With the Panthers, he provided equipment inventory checks, assisted the football staff with practice equipment setup and drill work, among other responsibilities.
He also spent time at California University of Pennsylvania as a student offensive assistant for multiple seasons. Hoyman assisted with oversight of student employees, managing game and practice film and assisted the Volcans’ coaching staff during games.
Hoyman earned his Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from Pennsylvania Western University in California, Pa. in May 2024.
Hoyman was the third new addition to the Saint Francis staff ahead of the 2024 season joining offensive coordinator Jacob Craig and offensive line coach Cullen Casey.
