Terry Bookhamer picked up a first-place finish at the Eric Kobler Invitational in the hammer throw with a heave with a mark of 50.31-meters (165-feet, 1 inch). The senior thrower dominated the field by finishing nine feet, two inches ahead of the rest of the field. Bookhamer also picked up a fifth-place finish the shot put with a toss of 13.29-meter (43-feet, 7.25 inches).
