Christin Bridge dominated the shot put at the Army Invite with a toss of 14.96-meters (49 feet, 1 inches) besting the field by nearly eight feet. The toss ranks as a season-best for Bridge and sits as the top mark in the Northeast Conference this season by almost four feet. Bridge also earned a season-best toss in the hammer throw with a mark of 49.22-meters (161 feet, 6 inches), which earned her a second-place finish.
