GREELEY, Colo. (Aug. 31, 2007) – The Saint Francis women's volleyball team traveled to the foothills of the Colorado Rockies on Thursday, but suffered a pair of 3-0 setbacks against tournament-host Northern Colorado and Florida Gulf Coast at the UNC Hampton Inn & Suites Classic.

The Red Flash fell to Northern Colorado 16-30, 25-30, 16-30 before falling to Florida Gulf Coast 14-30, 15-30, 22-30.

SFU will be back in action on Saturday against Iowa and UC-Riverside.

In the nightcap against FGCU, junior outside hitter Kristin Buter (Bowie, MD/Bowie) (Bowie, Md. / Bowie) posted 8 kills and 3 digs, while junior middle hitter Keshia Gibbs (Dumfries, Va. / Forest Park)had 6 kills and a block. Freshman setter Rachel Capizzi (Saint Louis, Mo./Mehlville) (Saint Louis, Mo. / Mehlville) had 11 assists.
