BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, N.Y. (Oct. 25, 2008) – Senior Kristin Buter (Bowie, MD/Bowie) (Bowie, Md. / Bowie) had a team-high 10 points with a match-high eight kills, one ace and two blocks to lead the Saint Francis women's volleyball team to a 3-0 victory at St. Francis-NY on Saturday afternoon.

Junior Rikki Myers (Noblesville, IN/Westfield) (Noblesville, Ind. /Westfield) tallied a match-high 17 assists to go with six digs and three blocks in the 25-10, 25-13, 25-13 win over the Terriers.

The Red Flash improved to 7-16 overall, and 1-1 in the NEC. They will try to continue their momentum when they travel to Wagner on Sunday.

Senior Keshia Gibbs (Dumfries, VA/Forest Park) (Dumfries, Va. / Forest Park) pitched in with seven kills and four blocks, junior Shirley Miller (Fairless Hills, PA/Pennsbury) (Fairless Hills, Pa. / Pennsbury) added six kills, two aces and three digs, and senior Kayla Greenwalt (Colorado Springs, CO/Widefield) (Colorado Springs, Colo. / Widefield) hit .500 with three kills while adding three blocks.

Detelina Dimitrova had a team-high six kills for St. Francis-NY.
