Long Island got on the board in the 13th minute when it took a 1-0 lead on Steve JakuBowski's goal off a corner kick.

But Maffey-Stumpe picked up his first career goal off a feed from Fleming to notch the game at 1-1 at 31 minutes, 57 seconds. Fleming would then set up the go-ahead goal off a free kick from midfield. He played the ball into the right side of the 18-yard box, where McLeod headed it to Maffey-Stumpe on the left side.

Saint Francis was outshot 12-8, while Long Island also had an 11-4 edge in corner kicks. The win for the Red Flash snapped a four-game skid.
