LORETTO, Pa. (Oct. 17, 2011) – The College Football Performance Awards announced its national weekly awards Monday with Kyle Harbridge (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) earning honorable mention running back of the week.
 
Harbridge rushed for 189 yards against Sacred Heart and a pair of touchdowns while also racking up 25 receiving yards. The Easton, Pa. native continues to have a huge season for the Red Flash and currently ranks third nationally in rushing. His rushing total of 924 yards is the third-best single season total in school history. The junior has rushed for over 150 yards three times this season including his 346 yard record breaking showing against Morehead State.
 
The junior also racked up 11 return yards to add to his all-purpose total. Harbirdge holds the fourth-best single season all-purpose yardage total in school history with a mark of 1,282 yards. The tailback ranks seventh among active FCS players in all-purpose yards and third among non-seniors.
 
Saint Francis and Harbirdge return to action Saturday when they travel to Youngstown State for a 4 p.m. kickoff against the Penguins.
