ALLENTOWN, Pa. (March 11, 2012) – The Saint Francis University bowling team closed the 2011-12 season at the ITC Team Secionals Sunday afternoon, finishing in sixth place of 15 participating teams.

To qualify for the team nationals to be held later this season, the Red Flash would have needed to finish within the top four squads. Webber International took the top spot on the women's side after compiling a total pinfall of 12,943 in the 64 baker game format. Maryland Eastern Shore, Lindenwood and Kutztown rounded out the rest of the qualifying schools. SFU finished with a total pinfall of 11,484 to place them in sixth.
