LORETTO, Pa. (August 17, 2012) – The Saint Francis University football team held its annual media day Friday at the JFK Student Center on the university campus.
 
Head football coach Chris Villarrial joined Jeff Wasilewski (Ebensburg, Pa. / Central Cambria), Bishop Neal (Clairton, Pa./Clairton), Jakob DeMedal, John Kelly (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) and Jake Smith (Galena, Ohio / St. Francis DeSales) at a lunch with media members and Red Flash Football fans. Coach Villarrial talked about the upcoming season and what the Flash have been working on in camp and some of the battles while the players gave insight into their offseason activities and how they have been working with some of the new assistant coaches.    
 
The Red Flash open the regular season on the road Sept. 1 at James Madison with kickoff set for 6 p.m. SFU opens its home and conference schedule Sept. 8 against Bryant at DeGol Field.
