Football Adds 20 to 2013 Class



The Saint Francis football team announced the addition of 20 players to its 2013 signing class Tuesday.





Sean Allen (Youngstown, Ohio/Ursuline )– WR – 6-2, 180

Sean, son of Sean Allen (Youngstown, Ohio/Ursuline ) Sr. and Rochele Bowers, served as team captain as a senior at Ursuline High School in Youngstown, Ohio. During his senior campaign, Allen accumulated 14 receptions for 400 yards and 4 TD.

Sam Bohnert (Morris, N.J./North Penn ) – WR – 6-4, 205
 
Sam, son of Joe and Sarah Bohnert, played high school football for the North Penn Panthers appearing at four positions including wide receiver, outside linebacker, quarterback and kick return. Earned NTL Large School First Team, Towanda All Region First Team, All District Team, and District IV All-Star Team during his senior year. Scored winning touchdown for 2011 Eastern Conference Championship game. Sam will be majoring in exercise physiology.

Dan Conville (Pottsville, Pa./Pottsville ) – DL – 6-2, 250
 
Dan, son of Dan and Barb Conville, was named Team Captain his senior year at Pottsville. Over the course of his four years, Conville earned First-Team All-Berks County OL 2011-12, First Team OL Schuylkill County 2011, Second Team DL Schuylkill County 2012. He was named to Schuylkill County Dream Team Line of the Year and also named Amvets Lineman of the Year.

Sebastian Hofmann (Warren, N.J./Immaculata ) – WR – 5-11, 170
 
Sebastian, son of Paul and Beatriz, was a three-year letter winner for Immaculata High School. In his senior year, Hofmann led his team to the NJ Parochial/Non-Public Group 2 State Championship Game.
Tre'Vontae Jackson (/McKinley High School ) – LB – 6-1, 210
 
In his senior season, Tre'Vontae tallied 133 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 2 FF, 1 fumble recovery, 1 INT and 1 TD. Jackson was nominated to the All-Federal League, All-Stark County, All-North Inland District, 1480 WHBC and All-Ohio.
Andrew Julius (Kapolei, Hawaii/Kapolei ) – DL – 6-1, 315
 
Andrew, son of Jon Murray and Arnette Julius, was a three-year starter on the defensive line at Kapolei High School in Hawaii. During his tenure at Kapolei, Julius was named to the Hawaii Football Elite 100, Star Advertiser Top 4 O-Lineman, Hurricane Comeback Player of the Year and Tom Lemming Prep Selection List. Julius started in the Hawaii All-Star HUB Bowl where he accumulated 4 tackles, 1 sack and 1 TFL.

Kordel McInnis (Sewell, N.J./Washington Twp.) – WR – 6-1, 200 – SUNY Cortland
 
Kordel, son Stan and Sharon McInnis, is transferring from SUNY Cortland after spending the past two years as a primary target in its pass attack. Over his two years at SUNY Cortland, McInnis started 22 games while making 91 catches, 1,047 yards and 11 TDs. McInnis earned Team Offensive Rookie of the Year his freshman year and All NJAC Conference Honors as a sophomore.

Ben, son of Tom and Brenda, collected 3,000 career all-purpose yards and 24 career TDs in his four years at Cambria Heights. He was named to 2011-2012 All Laurel Highlands Conference Team and 2011 3rd Team All Area RB.

Pat Moran (/Bernegat) – DB – 5-10, 185
 
Pat, son of Michael and Karen Moran, holds 24 schools records at Barnegat High School. Over his four years, Moran accumulated 207 tackles, 11 INT, 15 passes broken up, and three forced fumbles. He is the 7th all-time leading receiver in Shore Conference History. During his senior year, Pat was named All-Group 3 Team and First Team All Shore Conference.

Nevin Pagan (East Petersburg, Pa./Lancaster Catholic ) – TE – 6-2, 235
 
Nevin, son of Brian and Dawn Mihaliak, is a two-year letter winner for Lancaster Catholic and helped lead his team to a 2011 AA State Championship. As a senior, Nevin accumulated 7 receptions for 126 yards and 1 TD. Defensively, he had 46 tackles, 4 sacks and 5 FF. Nevin was selected as 2nd Team TE for Section 1 AA League and Honorable Mention OLB.

Rashawn Pascal (Fort Lauderdale, Fla. /Fort Lauderdale ) – WR – 6-0, 170
 
Rashawn, son John Pascal and Loleatha Small, was a three-year letter winner at Ft. Lauderdale High School. Over his three years, Pascal accumulated 92 catches, 1,700 yards and 17 TD. As a senior, he was named Second Team All-Broward County, won Team MVP, Team Iron Man Award and Top WR. Pascal played in the North vs. South All Star Game in Florida.

Jerome Sellers-Washington (/Stony Brook ) – TE – 6-5, 250
 
Jerome, son of Jerome Sellers and Sheila Mceachern, was a two time 1st Team All-League TE during his senior campaign at the Stony Brook School in New York. During his senior year Sellers-Washington had 20 catches, over 500 yards receiving and 4 TD.

John Sheesley (Nanty Glo, Pa./Blacklick Valley ) – RB – 6-0, 180
 
Sheesley won the Pennsylvania Wendy's High School Heisman Award and was named All West-PAC All Conference. He holds career records for both TD scored and total net yards. In his senior year, Sheesley had 189 carries for 1,357 yards and 17 TDs while accumulating 2,342 net yards and 22 total TDs. Defensively, he added 66 tackles and 4 INTs.

Buddy Shutlock (Dallas, Pa./Dallas High School) – OL – 6-4, 270
 
Son of Michael and Melanie Shutlock, Buddy anchored an offensive line under head coach Bob Zaruta. As a senior, Buddy was voted 2012 First Team All-Conference by The WVC Coaches Association, The Times-Leader and the Citizens Voice. Buddy also started at tackle in the 2012 WVC UNICO All Star Game.

Adrien, son of Thomas Stinger and Dawn Owens, was a three-year varsity starter playing RB, DB and Return Specialist. As a senior, Stinger accumulated 97 carries for 739 yards and was named All-Dules District Second Team as a RB and Return Specialist.

Jared Thompson (Clarksburg, Md./Clarksburg ) – DB – 5-8, 160
 
Jared Thompson (Clarksburg, Md./Clarksburg ) is a three-year varsity player and two-year co-captain for Clarksburg High School. During his senior year Thompson accumulated 29 tackles and 9 passes broken up to earn 2nd Team All-Gazette.

Jake Tisevich (Canton, Ohio/Glen Oak ) – DB – 6-2, 195
 
Jake, son of Jack and Rebecca Tisevich, was a Federal League Honorable Mention during his senior year where he played FS and WR. During his senior year, Tisevich accumulated 86 tackles, 5 INT, 3 FF and 10 passes defensed. Offensively, Tisevich produced 300 yards receiving, averaging 15.5 yards per catch.

Josiah Williams (Dewitt, N.Y./Jamesville Dewitt ) – WR – 6-2, 183
 
Josiah Williams (Dewitt, N.Y./Jamesville Dewitt ), son of Paul and Evette Williams, lead his team to a 9-1 season, winning the Section 3 Class A Championship. During his senior year in which he had 74 rushing attempts for 708 yards and 15 catches for 355 yards, Williams was named 2012 Jamesville-Dewitt Football Senior MVP. He also garnered MVP honors in the Section 3 Class A Championship Game in the Central New York Chapter of the National Football Foundation. Williams also earned First Team All-League and First Team All-County honors.

Andre Wilson (Rochester, N.Y./Bishop Kearney ) – LB – 5-11, 205
 
Andre, son of Andrew Wilson and Marvian Davis, was a three-year varsity starter and captain for the Kearny Kings. Over the course of three years, Wilson accumulated 219 tackles, 5 FF, 5 Sacks and 2 INT. Wilson twice earned NUC Linebacker MVP and Team MVP. He was a three-time All-Greater Rochester selection and played in 2012 NY vs. NJ All Star Senior Game.

Jake Wiskeman (Vandergrift, Pa./Kiski Area ) – LB – 6-0, 215
 
Jake, son of Butch and Kathie Wiskeman, was named as an Honorable Mention All-Conference linebacker. As a senior, he accumulated 63 tackles, three sacks and two interceptions.
