BOX SCORE BALTIMORE, Md. – (Sept. 14, 2013) The Red Flash end the University of Maryland Baltimore County Tournament on a tough loss to Coppin State in their first five set match of the season.

Saint Francis (0-10) jumped on the Eagles (3-7) early winning the first set 25-14. Coppin State fought back winning the second 25-12 off a 13-2 run to end the set. The Red and White responded in the third set winning 25-19 off Kendra Ireigbe's service error. 

Coppin State put the game out of reach besting Saint Francis 25-17 in the fourth set and 15-7 in the fifth set.

Senior outside hitter Breanna Kochinsky (Nicktown, Pa./Northern Cambria) led the Red and White on the court recording a season-high 25 digs. Breanna Opera (Lancaster, N.Y./Lancaster ), Hannah Kutny (Clifton Park, N.Y./Catholic Central), and Kayla Jeckell (Mountaintop, Pa./Crestwood) tallied double digits in the kill column totaling 35.

The Saint Francis U women's volleyball team hosts the Red Flash Invitational Sept 21, 2013 marking their home opener.
