BOX SCORE LORETTO, Pa. (Sept. 21, 2014) - The Saint Francis U women's soccer team took a 1-0 lead into the half, but four second-half Oakland University goals proved to be too much for the Red Flash. The Golden Grizzlies took the match, 4-1.

Senior captain Mackenzie Walter (Hollidaysburg, Pa./Hollidaysburg) scored the lone goal for the Red Flash in the fifth minute. She scored her first of the season and was assisted by sophomore, Casey Gallaher (Sidman, Pa./Forest Hills).

Gallaher now has three points on the season. Walter had three shots for the Red Flash, all were on goal.

The Red Flash held the Golden Grizzlies scoreless for the first 57 minutes until a header by Kyla Kellerman evened things up.

The Golden Grizzlies outshot the Red Flash 19-5, including 9-5 on goal.

Red Flash freshman keeper Romina Kunze (Frankfurt, Germany/Carl-von-Weinberg-Schule) recorded five saves.

The Red Flash returns to action next Sunday when it plays Bucknell at 2 p.m. at home.
