BOX SCORE LORETTO, Pa. (Sept. 3, 2014) – The Saint Francis U men's soccer program dropped a 2-0 contest to the Bucknell University Bison, Wednesday afternoon.
 
Bucknell (2-1-0) scored early, off midfielder Jonathan Grad's ball to Jesse Klug. Klug sliced Grad's ball past Red Flash keeper Andrew Garcia (Sicklerville, N.J./Timber Creek Regional), giving the Bison a 1-0 lead. Klug's goal was the eventual game-winner.
 
SFU (1-2-0) struggled on the attack, mustering two first half shots.
 
Saint Francis trailed the Bison 1-0 at halftime.
 
Chris Thorsheim scored Bucknell's second goal on a penalty kick.

Saint Francis's attack managed six second half corner kicks, while the Red Flash defense held the Bison in check.
 
Senior Ryan Byers (Scottdale, Pa./Southmoreland) led the Flash with two shots.
 
The Red Flash return to action Sept. 7 at West Virginia.
