LORETTO, Pa. – Saint Francis senior running back Khairi Dickson (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland Central Catholic) picked up his fourth Preseason All-American honor as he was selected Third Team by College Sports Madness on Thursday.
 
Dickson was previously named a Preseason All-American by Hero Sports, STATS FCS (Second Team) and USA College Football. The Cleveland native has also been selected to STATS Offensive Player of the Year and CFPA National Performer of the Year Watch Lists.
 
The senior had one of the top offensive seasons in SFU history as a junior in 2014.  The 6-foot, 182-pound Dickson averaged 155.3 yards per game to lead the FCS and NCAA in rushing yards.  He led the FCS from wire-to-wire and totaled a school-record 1,708 yards.
 
Dickson began his 2014 campaign with seven consecutive 100-yard rushing games, including a 244-yard performance at No. 11 Fordham in the season opener.  He finished the year with nine 100-yard games and had 95 yards in the Red Flash's 30-27 win at No. 22 Sacred Heart.
 
His 1,708 yards were the fifth-most in Northeast Conference history.  He also led the conference with 12 rushing touchdowns and was named NEC Offensive Player of the Year.
 
Dickson enters his final season in a Red Flash uniform with 2,269 yards to rank fourth on the school's career rushing list.  He only needs 61 yards to pass Michael Hall (2000-03) for third place an trails Kyle Harbridge (2009-13) by 1,857 yards for the school record.
 
The Cleveland native also has 17 career rushing touchdowns, placing him third in SFU history. He is only three touchdowns behind Todd Harris (2003-06) for second place and 19 behind Harbridge for first place.
 
Dickson is one of only two NEC representatives on the College Sports Madness Preseason All-American teams.  The full list can be found here.
