Loretto, Pa.- The Saint Francis men's soccer team finished their exhibition season with another scoreless draw, playing the Cleveland State Vikings to a tie at DeGol Field on Saturday.

This is the second straight scoreless draw for the Red Flash in their exhibition season, they also drew against Pittsburgh on Wednesday night.

The Red Flash out shot Cleveland Sate 13-8 on Saturday and 4-3 in shots on goal. Saint Francis appeared to be the more aggressive team as well, earning six corner kicks to just two for the Vikings.

It was off the set pieces where the Red Flash had their best chances. Midway through the first half,
Pedro Neto (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil/Instituto Nossa Senhora Da Gloria) hammered a shot off a
Pablo Medina (Monterrey, Mexico/IMG Academies) corner kick but was denied by Vikings' keeper Nick Ciraldo.Â
Jack Webber (Bernville, Pa./Tulpehocken) and
Andres Vega (Managua, Nicaragua/Colegio Centro America) both had header opportunities in the second half off of corners, but could not finish.

The Red Flash defense was strong once again, yielding just three shots on target. The Vikings' biggest scoring opportunity came in the 61
st minute when
Andrew Garcia (Sicklerville, N.J./Timber Creek Regional) made a sprawling save on a deflected shot from distance. Garcia played the first 68 minutes and made two saves before giving way to
Marcus Rojas (Fremont, Calif./Bellarmine College Preparatory) who made one save in relief.

Saint Francis exits exhibition play with a pair of draws. They will start the 2015 regular season next Friday when they travel to Maryland to take on the Loyola Greyhounds. Match time is set for 6 p.m.
