Biography

REDSHIRT SENIOR (2017) - Played in all eighteen matches with 14 starts...recorded two shots vs. Duquesne (8/25)...added a career-high three shots at Bucknell (8/27)...scored his first goal of season against Howard (9/27)...scored the game-winning goal in 1-0 overtime victory over Bryant (10/15).

REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2016) - Played in three matches...Recorded a shot at Robert Morris (11/6).

REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2015) -  Saw action in all 20 matches including six starts as a junior...Scored two goals and recorded three assists...Scored game-winning goal in 1-0 victory over Saint Bonaventure...Fifth on the team with 31 shots and 15 shots on goal.

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2014) - Appeared in 16 matches during the 2014 season, including three starts … recorded three goals and six points … registered 15 shots, six of which were on goal.

FRESHMAN (2013) - Did not see any action during freshman season.

BEFORE SFU - Vega was a four-year starter at Colegio Centro America and was named Most Valuable Player twice during his career ... In the fall of 2012, Vega went to the IMG Academy and played with the U19 team ... Vega netted 17 goals in 16 games and was the top scorer on the squad ... In February of 2013, Vega got the opportunity to play in the Viareggio Cup in Italy.
