Khairi Dickson (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland Central Catholic) and
Marcus Bagley (Cleveland Heights, Ohio/Cleveland Heights) each topped 100 rushing yards to lead the Saint Francis football team to a 48-20 win over Georgetown to open the 2015 season on Saturday.

The Red Flash begin a season 1-0 for the first time since Sept. 2, 2006 against Saint Peter's. With 48 points, Saint Francis had their most in a season-opening game, topping 38 vs. Saint Peter's.

SFU compiled 520 total yards, including 281 on the ground. Dickson gained 129 yards and scored three touchdowns on 22 carries, while Bagley recorded a career-high 147 yards on 19 carries. The SFU defense held Georgetown to 243 total yards, with 129 rushing and 114 passing.

It marked the first time the Red Flash had two 100-yard rushers in a game since Sept. 8, 2012 when Dickson and John Kelley each hit the century mark against Bryant.

Quarterback
Zack Drayer (Hershey, Pa./Hershey ) set career highs for completions and attempts. The junior completed 23-of-33 passes for 239 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.

Junior
Terell Smith (West Haverstraw, N.Y./North Rockland) had a career day, catching nine passes for 140 yards and a touchdown, including a 39-yard reception at the start of the fourth quarter. Fullback
Anthony Damiano (Tamaqua, Pa. /Marian Catholic) caught his first career touchdown pass.

On the defensive side, linebacker
Semo Sila (Honolulu, Hawaii /Farrington) matched a career-high with seven tackles and added half a sack to lead the Red Flash. Sophomore
Robert Miller (Coral Springs, Fla./Taravella) made six stops in his Saint Francis debut, while
Lorenzo Jerome (Sunrise, Fla./J.P. Taravella) and
Sean Orsini (Imperial, Pa./West Allegheny) each had five tackles. Sophomore
Delondo Boyd (Indian Head, Md./Henry E. Lackey) picked off two passes and returned one 35 yards for a touchdown.
T.J. Dougherty (West Chester, Pa./West Chester Rustin) and Jerome each registered a sack.

Saint Francis racked up 332 total yards in the first half, including 170 through the air and 162 on the ground.Â

The Red Flash got on the board first on a 20-yard run by Dickson on the opening drive. Out of the shotgun, Dickson took the handoff through the right side, broke a tackle and ran up the right sideline for the score. An 11-yard completion by Drayer to Smith and a 38-yard run by Dickson set up the touchdown run.

Dickson added another score on a one-yard run later in the first quarter. SFU was setup with good field position after a 40-yard punt return by Jerome. Junior Will Martin had two catches for 19 yards, while Dickson turned a screen play into an 11-yard gain. A 10-yard run by sophomore Bagley set up Dickson's score.

The Red Flash added a third touchdown in the opening quarter on a five-yard pass from Drayer to senior fullback
Anthony Damiano (Tamaqua, Pa. /Marian Catholic). A 37-yard rush by Bagley put the Red Flash in position for the score.

Georgetown got their first points of the day on a 35-yard interception return by Ettian Scott with 8:05 left in the second quarter.

Two
Lance Geesey (Harrisburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) field goals completed the scoring for the Red Flash in the first half as the junior connected on 24 and 44-yard attempts. He now owns first place all-time at Saint Francis with 3x career field goals. His first of the day broke a tie with Josh Thiel(2009-12) to take over the top spot.

Dickson scored for the third time on a three-yard rush to complete a 12-play, 98-yard drive that covered 6:50 of the third quarter. All 98 yards came on the ground, including rushes of 16 and 17 yards by Bagley, carries of 12 and 17 yards by Dickson and a 13-yard rush by Drayer.

After a fumble recovery, the Hoyas found the end zone for the second time, scoring on a nine-yard scramble by quarterback Kyle Nolan.

Drayer completed his second touchdown pass of the day on the first play of the 4th quarter, hooking up with Smith. The drive featured an 18-yard reception by senior
Daniel Adams (Washington, D.C./Northwestern) and an 11-yard run by Bagley.

On the ensuing Georgetown drive, Boyd picked off a pass over the middle and returned it 35 yards for a touchdown. The interception was Boyd's second of the day.

The Hoyas' Nolan scored on another QB keeper in the fourth quarter. This time on a 13-yard run.

The Red Flash travel to Towson next Saturday for a matchup with the Tigers. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. at Johnny Unitas stadium.
